Chesson received his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2000. He has been providing physical therapy services to the citizens of the west bank of Jefferson and Orleans Parishes for the last 18 years. Chesson received his certification as a specialist in orthopedic physical therapy in 2005 and is a certified administrator of the Workwell system for Functional Capacity Evaluations. In 2009 Chesson earned his certification in the McKenzie method of diagnosis and treatment of the spine. After successfully completing his certification in high velocity, low amplitude thrust mobilization of the spine from the Spinal Manipulation Institute and his certification in Dry Needling from the Dry Needling Institute, Chesson went on to obtain his diploma in Osteopractic Physical Therapy from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Most recently Chesson has been training in Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the upper and lower extremities and is working toward his certification in this area. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the orthopedic section of the APTA.
